Simply Sundays is on a mission to turn old school recipes into time-savers by recreating them into slow cooker recipes. Today they bring us Sweet & Saurkraut Pork Chops, which can be made in an Instant Pot, Slow Cooker, or on your stovetop!

The sweet and sour flavors created by the brown sugar, ketchup and sauerkraut are unique and complement the pork well. My husband said the meal brought up memories of growing up on his family’s farm and meals his mom would make them after a long day of work. This recipe is definitely one for nostalgia!

I served this recipe over a bed of egg noodles, just like the Simply Sunday’s recommends! The night we ate this meal, we didn’t add any additional sides, but a green veggie or simple salad would be an easy addition!
