Recipe Clipper: Save recipes from the web
The Recipe Clipper allows you to add recipes to your account from online recipe websites.

How to add our Recipe Clipper bookmarklet to your browser:
- Enable the favorites/bookmarks bar on your browser.
- Click and hold on the “Add to PTE” button and drag to your bookmarks bar.
- Navigate to a website with a recipe you’d like to save.
- Click on the Add to PTE bookmarklet in your the bookmarks toolbar of your browser.
- An import window will open up on the left side of your browser window with the recipe data added.
- Click the Save Recipe button in the top right to add the recipe to your Plan to Eat recipe book.

Manual install on desktop browsers
If you cannot drag and drop button the above, you can manually install the Recipe Clipper to your bookmarks bar. Before doing this, it may be helpful to contact our support team at [email protected] and we can help you get the clipper added to your bookmarks bar!

Once you install the Plan to Eat app on your device, the Share Extension Clipper will be immediately added to your share options in Safari.
Use the Extension to save recipes:
- Find a recipe you want to add to your Recipe Book.
- Tap on the
Share button from your browser.
- Tap the Plan to Eat icon (if you don’t see our icon, scroll over and tap More).
- The Plan to Eat app will open and a draft recipe will import.
- Tap Save to add the recipe to your Recipe Book.
Once you install the Plan to Eat app on your device, the Share Extension Clipper will be immediately added to your share options in Chrome.
Use the Extension to save recipes:
- Find a recipe online that you would like to import.
- Tap on the menu icon in the top right corner of your browser.
- Or hold down on the website URL to access the Share options.
- Tap Share.
- In the share menu, tap on the Plan to Eat icon.
- The Plan to Eat app will open and import a draft recipe.
- Press Save to add the recipe to your Recipe Book.
