Program Updates
The development team is working hard to make updates, squash bugs, and add new features to both the desktop and mobile app versions of Plan to Eat!
App:
This month, we released version 3.7.0 & 3.7.1:
- We added AI-generated ingredient substitution recommendations to the Recipe, Cook, and Shopping List views!
- We patched an issue causing occasional page layout alignment issues.
- We fixed a bug that was occasionally causing friends’ recipes to be duplicated.
- We updated your account page so you can easily toggle whether your subscription auto-renews.
- We streamlined the UX of ingredient substitution recommendations.
Desktop:
- We updated the shopping list so you can edit the notes on ingredients that are associated with your planned recipes.
- We added a beginner mode for recipes that uses AI to improve recipe directions for beginner cooks.
- We fixed a bug that was preventing recipe photos from saving from Instagram posts.
- You can now quickly add ingredients to your shopping list or view ingredient substitution suggestions directly from any recipe ingredient. You can filter ingredient substitutions by dietary preference (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, or keto).
- We updated our unit conversion algorithm so that fluid ounces are now scaled correctly.
- We updated the recipe book so that your recipes are sorted by recipe title, regardless of case.
