We’re kicking off our Easy Meals for the New Year challenge and we’re so excited to share this content with you! This challenge is the biggest we’ve ever had and is packed full with 30 days of recipes! The very first recipe is an easy to make and delicious meal from Brooklyn Farm Girl:

Freezer Salisbury Steak

This meal is prepped in just minutes and very delicious! Husband approved! This is an excellent recipe to add to your repertoire if you frequently batch cook and want to put it in your freezer.

The serving size can easily be scaled in your Plan to Eat account to serve your family dinner today and add to your Freezer to serve later. (Follow each link to learn more about these features!) I made two batches and have been able to eat this for several different meals. The first time, I served it with rice and roasted broccolini. The second time with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts.

Prepping these meals ahead of time and being able to grab one from the freezer makes dinner easy, stress free, and most importantly — delicious! Keep watching each day of our Easy Meals for the New Year Challenge to learn more about each “recipe of the day” and make meal planning this year a new habit!

Recipe notes from Plan to Eat: Because I had I leftover ground turkey from another meal, I chose to make this recipe with a combination of Ground Turkey and Ground Beef. This choice seemed to make the patties a bit more fragile, but they were very moist!

Make 2018 the year that meal planning becomes a habit.

To get you started, we’ve put together an amazing collection of 30 easy-to-prepare recipes, and made them available to you right in your Plan to Eat account.
