Easy Pasta Recipes for Busy Families

Life’s been a bit busy lately, with the new school year & the launch of my new site, and I’ve been looking for easy meals that don’t make me feel like I’m letting my family down.

Here are my two favorite 3-ingredient pasta dishes that are satisfying AND delicious, especially when paired with garlic bread and/or a salad:

Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

1 lb. ground beef
16-oz. box of pasta
28-oz. jar of pasta sauce

Brown ground beef in a skillet. Bring pot of water to a boil. Cook & drain noodles. Drain ground beef and add jar of pasta sauce. Serve noodles and top with generous amounts of meat sauce. Serve & enjoy!

Pesto & Parmesan Pasta

16-oz. box of pasta
1/3 cup pesto
1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan

Bring pot of water to a boil. Cook & drain noodles. Add pesto and mix well. Add parmesan and stir just until it’s evenly mixed in the pasta. Serve & enjoy!

It’s nice to have a couple options for dinner on those nights when we just need to get something on the table fast, and everyone in my family loves Italian cuisine, so these are always a hit!

What’s your favorite quick-and-easy meal?
