Program Updates

The development team is working hard to make updates, squash bugs, and add new features to both the desktop and mobile app versions of Plan to Eat!

App:

We released app version 3.7.3:

  • We fixed a bug that was causing ingredients to be incorrectly sorted after making changes in bulk edit mode.
  • We fixed a bug that was causing ingredient editing to behave erratically when switching between bulk and line-item input modes.

Desktop:

  • We improved our recipe clipper for greater accuracy on difficult-to-parse websites.
  • We enhanced our recipe clipper to allow importing more recipes from YouTube.
  • We made it simple to link your existing PTE accounts to your Google (or other OAuth provider) emails for single-click sign-ons.
  • We refreshed the look and feel with more rounded design elements throughout the app.
  • Added SSO (Google, Apple, etc.) login and sign-up buttons to the gift redemption page, so recipients can redeem gifts using their OAuth accounts.
  • Redesigned the gift redemption page with a tabbed Sign up / Log in layout for a cleaner experience.

Highlighted Reviews

“I’ve used this app for years and I love it. Perfect for storing any recipe, whether imported from the web or manually entered by hand. When I make a meal plan the ingredients are automatically added to a shopping list. Easy to use and intuitive. ”

Leave a Google Play Review

“I have been using this for at least 5 years now. I just discovered that I can pull recipes from instagram and sub stack. There is so much more I am still discovering. I use both the app and desktop version. I was not guided on how to meal plan growing up which caused so much food anxiety. This has made everything so smooth and streamlined.”
