Program Updates
The development team is working hard to make updates, squash bugs, and add new features to both the desktop and mobile app versions of Plan to Eat!
App:
This month, we released versions 3.5.3 and 3.5.4:
- We added a new option to import recipes using your camera or photo library.
- We added persistence for user preferences such as dark mode, even when logged out.
- We enabled scaling by a decimal number in the recipe servings field.
- We improved the tappable area of checkboxes on the cooking view.
- We enabled saving friend recipes directly from the recipe list.
- We added a toggle to Shopping List Settings to enable Siri.
- We patched a bug affecting the “Import from Photo” feature for Android users.
Desktop:
- We updated our recipe clipper to work better with recipes from instagram.com.
- We fixed a bug that prevented the recipe pop-up from appearing for recipes on the planner in some mobile browsers.
- We updated the recipe search filters so the count for missing tags is more accurate.
