Wow, that sounds like a great gift!
My current subscription ended recently and I was trying to hold off on renewing for a little. I have been trying to use Pepperplate and I just need you to know that it was agony compared to using Plan To Eat. Thank you for an incredible product that makes my life SO much easier! Needless to say, I just renewed I hope you all have a great week!

One thing that I especially love that I was not expecting to was the shopping list. I mean, I knew it was awesome on my phone. I logged in quickly and checked items off as I added to my cart. But one day I decided to print it out. I placed it on a clipboard and handed it to my 6 year old who is learning to read. She absolutely loved looking for words and checking them off as we went along. Even her 4 year old brother got in on the action. Made grocery shopping so much more enjoyable! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

There are many recipe organization sites available these days, but Plan to Eat is the only one that has nailed the tricky balance between features and complexity. The site packs enormous punch (Import recipes from anywhere, shopping lists that auto-sort into supermarket categories, "cooking view," etc.), but it presents all that power through a carefully orchestrated user interface that never overwhelms. The site gets out of the way so you can shop and cook with grace. After experimenting with all of the well known competing options, I simply cannot recommend it enough. A big thank you to the husband and wife team of Plan to Eat for literally changing the way my family eats!

Most of the meal planning/recipe organizing options I had looked at either didn't have the ability to automatically create a shopping list, or didn't have an easy way to add other items to the generated list, or wanted me to follow their meal plans (we are ridiculously picky eaters). Plan To Eat has been amazing and we will definitely be subscribing when our free trial ends! Adding recipes was easy, the drag-and-drop meal planner is very similar to what I've been doing with planning our meals on Google Calendar, and the automatic shopping list saves me so much time! We put it to the test in the grocery store this week \xE2\x80\x94 my husband & I usually split up and each do 1/2 the store so we can get out quickly \xE2\x80\x94 Plan To Eat worked perfectly on both our phones! It's exactly the solution I've been searching for!

I am a long-time meal planner -- I am wife, mom of three energetic young kids, full-time professor, and wanna-be yogini, so meal planning is not an option for us, rather a necessity -- but Plan to Eat has revolutionized my system already.
