Freeze before baking or after?

Is this a Make-Ahead Meal? How should this be frozen? Thaw before baking? Bake before freezing?

We have made an update to the recipe that includes freezing instructions! Freeze the meal prior to baking!

The amount of cheese called for seemed like it would make this more of a cheese casserole with curry rather than a curry casserole. I omitted the cheese from the sauce and just added a layer on top. Still got yummy melted cheese, but as a secondary flavor so the curry could be the star.

All of the textures are kind of mushy, would be better with a panko topping to add some crunch
