6 medium potatoes diced
1-2 quarts chicken stock (stock from one whole chicken)
2 large cooked chicken breasts cubed (possibly from a previously roasted chicken or making chicken stock)
1 12 teaspoons dried thyme
13 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons flour (or 1 1/2 tablespoons corn starch)
salt and pepper to taste
