Ingredients

  • 14 cups Popped corn (approx 14 tbsp kernels - see method below
  • 1 cup peanuts crushed
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup earth balance butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions

Put 7 tbsp of kernels each into 2 brown bags and pop in microwave for 2 minutes.

Heat oven to 250. Put popped corn and peanuts on a pan. Put sugar, syrup, butter & salt in saucepan and boil over med heat for 5 min. Add baking soda and vanilla & pourover corn. Bake for 1hr and stir every 15 min. Pour on parchment & separate and cool.
