roast spices then combine all but 1 Tb with yogurt and lemon juice in bottom of casserole/slowcooker
add chicken stir to coat.
add butter to pan with remaining 1 Tb spice add onion ginger garlic apple. Saute
stir in flour cook 1 min -will be clumpy
then wisk in stock/water
add all veg bring to a simmer add coconut milk. Bring to a simmer.
Pour into casserole/slowcooker. Stir to distribute liquid. sprinkle with nuts let cook
IN OVEN 1 or more hours @350 till liquid is reduced.
IN SLOWCOOKER with lid a jar, on high 5hrs
serve over rice, or wrapped in flat bread. we often use flour tortillas, but if i have time the homemade roti bread is delicious.
Once its wrapped seal it closed by setting into a warm dry pan and let brown slightly before flipping.
It can also be sealed using a sandwich press, foreman grill, or similar.
Toss in a handful of pea greens to give it a fresh crunch.
