Tofu or Tempeh Marinade shared by HolFit
Serves Change 1 servings originally
- 2 Tbsp Raw apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp Agave syrup or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp ground ginger
- 1/2 Tsp hot sauce
- 1/4 Tsp black pepper
- few drops hickory smoke sauce
Mix all ingredients together in a large glass container. Chop up tofu/tempeh into 1/2 inch blocks or in 6 large slabs (perfect for BBQ'ing).
Let marinate for at least 1 hr or for days in the fridge.
Choose to either pan fry or sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 400 for 40 minutes. Flip the tofu halfway through.
