Adding Friends to Your Account

To add Friends, click on Add Friends in the Friends box found on the right side of your Recipe Book.

Simply enter your friend's Plan to Eat login name (i.e. CookingFor5) or their email address and click on Invite Your Friends. Enter multiple login names or email addresses at once by separating them with commas (i.e. tom@email.com, jane@email.com, sara@email.com, etc.).

Once you click on Invite Your Friends, the system will automatically send your contacts an email inviting current users to share their recipes with you and introducing Plan to Eat to those who aren't registered.

Confirming Friend Request

When someone requests to add you as a friend, you'll receive an email notification with the subject line "I want to share my recipes with you. Click here to learn how to see your friends recipes and start sharing your own." To add them is a friend click the "Click here" link. You will be taken to your recipe book page if you are already logged in and you should automatically see their login name in your friend list. If you are not logged in you will be able to log in to confirm the friend request.

Note: Be sure to add email@plantoeat.com to your safe senders list so that your notifications don't end up in spam!
