BIG savings on my grocery bill!

I've tried meal planning a number of times over my 25 years of marriage. Nothing sticked. I couldn't handle the weekly grocery store trips and the shopping lists were cumbersome. I'd get so frustrated, I'd stop. I wasted so my money on food I'd end up not using. This was my yo-yo of meal planning.

We started eating out, spending $1000 a month on food. Then, I found plantoeat.com. Remembering my history with meal planning, I approached with caution. I tested it out and added a few recipes. Then, in October, I tried out planning for a month. I successfully planned, cooked and SAVED nearly $600.

I love using the shopping list. It's easy to remove items I already have and add things I need, not in the recipe. The recipe key on the lists helps me make a decision, while at the store, to eliminate a recipe because the combined ingredients are expensive.

Entering recipes, both import and manual, is a cinch. I love having my recipes organized in one place and I can see how many times I've planned each recipe.

Thanks for a great product!
