Date option for adding items to shopping list

I'd like the option for items added with the Add Items field in the Shopping List, to be added for a certain span of dates, like they are when adding them from your meal planner. I'd like to add items per week, and not have those items carry over past that week's list. I don't like to have to manually remove everything added via the Shopping List with every new week. Hope you'll consider it!
