Plan to Eat Black Friday 50% Off Sale
Plan to Eat Meal Planner and Grocery List Maker

Looking for an alternative to ZipList? Plan to Eat may be a good fit.

On December 10th ZipList will be ending its services leaving many current ZipList users without their recipes. If you are a ZipList user, and are looking for a new home for your recipes, we would love for you to give Plan to Eat a try.

Plan to Eat is an online meal planner that uses the recipes you gather from around the web, or add from your own collection. You can schedule your recipes on the planner and Plan to Eat will automatically make your grocery list using the recipes you’ve selected. Here is a 1:00 video to show you how it works:

Ziplist Import Tool

As of December 10th Ziplist has discontinued their tool to export recipes. If you exported your recipes before they shut off their services, you can use our import tool to import your Ziplist recipes into your Plan to Eat account.

Use our Bookmark to import recipes

You can also use our bookmark tool (a similar tool to ZipList’s “Clipper”) to import recipes one at a time from Epicurious, if you moved your recipes over there. This video will show you how that works:

A little different from ZipList

Unlike ZipList, Plan to Eat does not generate revenue by selling advertisements. We don’t believe that ads are appropriate in the context of a web application.

Instead, Plan to Eat is a subscription-based service that costs $4.95/month, or $39/year.

If you would like to give Plan to Eat a try, we have a free trial. There is no credit card required for the trial – simply sign up using the form below to get started. If you decide that you like Plan to Eat you will be asked at the end of your free trial if you would like to continue using it with a paid subscription.
