Our Food Philosophy

We Are What We Eat — Literally

Plan to Eat is driven by our food philosophy. We strongly believe our physical and emotional health is directly tied to what we eat, and the best way to insure we are getting the highest quality food is to prepare it at home. Without a way to plan and organize, we will often not have what we need in the pantry to make good food for our family.

We also believe we should do everything in our power to return food production to small, local farmers. Industrialized food is killing us, and the only power we have is where we spend our money. To the extent that we are able, we believe we should support local food production in our own communities.

Our hope is that Plan to Eat will be a tool that will help you prepare delicious, wholesome food that nourishes both body and soul.
